After a post-pandemic existential crisis, Mathilde decided to leave the restaurant industry where she had worked for years.
It was then that she chose to trade plates for hairstyles.
On a whim, she enrolled in the École des Métiers des Faubourgs de Montréal for hairdressing (just because it was close to her place). This allowed her to hone the techniques she learned from YouTube tutorials.
Mathilde has been the head hairstylist for her group of friends since she was 15. She has seen it all and comes to the rescue of hair that’s too short, bleached beards, mullets too long in the front, too short in the back… you name it, she has seen it all.
After an internship in November 2023, Mathilde was hired at O Salon as a junior hairstylist.
