Born in Montreal and passionate about architecture, colors, and shapes, Jean-Sébastien began his hairdressing training at Nicole Bisson, where he graduated in 2003. He was then recruited by Nicole Bisson to teach cutting and coloring. His profession fulfills him with the array of creative possibilities and challenges it offers, and his clients often tend to give him carte blanche given their complete trust in his talent and intuition.
A go-getter by nature, he gets involved in a multitude of special events such as fashion shows, competitions, and photoshoots for magazines. He also attends several additional training courses in cutting and coloring, both internationally and in Quebec, such as at the Saco Academy, where he was once again hired.
Starting in 2006, he began accumulating nominations at several competitions such as the ABA, L’Oréal’s Runway, the Mirror Awards, and the Contessa’s, where he won the Quebec Stylist of the Year award in 2017 and 2018. In the fall of 2012, he became the owner of O Salon, and since then, he has creatively rallied the team and taught everyone how to develop their skills by getting involved in various projects.
His ambitious and dreamy nature encourages him to seize every opportunity to carve out a well-deserved place within the industry and his team. He also worked for Revlon Professionnel as a Global Artist and technical development technician for about ten years, which allowed him to participate in several training sessions and special events, both in America and Europe.
Since summer 2023, he is very happy to join the Oligo Family to continue creating and inspiring his peers as an artist.
